The Olympus E600 is a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera that incorporates all of the features we expect from a good Digital SLR. Swivel LCD Screen:

The LCD screen has the capability to swivel 270 degrees allowing users to view their shots from a number of angles. In-body Image Stabilization:

Image stabilization is a feature that many Digital SLR Cameras do not include possibly because many users use accessories such as tripods to help take their perfect shot, so its inclusion with this camera is definitely a big bonus. We are provided with four different modes of stabilization compensating for camera shake with four different shutter speeds designed to reduced blur created by shaking.

Face Detection:

Face detection is a feature that is usually associated with Compact Digital Cameras however the Olympus E600 has a great face recognition feature that can detect up to eight faces per image. This is another feature we think will attract users who have just ditched their compact or SLR like camera and have taken the jump into the SLR market.

Shadow Adjustment Technology:

Another quirky little feature of this model is its shadow adjustment technology which is designed to compensate for extreme contrast when shadowed areas lack visible detail. It works by adjusting the exposure in shadowy areas whilst retaining full detail in bright areas.

Dust Reduction Technology:

All cameras suffer from a build of dust behind lenses which over time can reduce the quality of images, if not cleaned regularly. The dust reduction technology on the E600 is designed to reduce this build up, each time the camera is turned on it vibrates at 30,00 times per second cleaning the lenses.
