Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR Review
The Fujifilm Fine Pic F200 EXR is a compact camera by name but has many additional features that makes this camera a lot more than a point and shoot compact camera. It has a sensor resolution of 12 mega pixels along with a with a powerful Fujinon 5x optical zoom. The camera is boasted by a range of different shooting options to help users achieve great photos in a range of different conditions. One of our favourite settings is designed for low light conditions where the camera can switch to a High ISO/ low noise mode which effectively splits the lenses in two and takes two photos simultaneously. Each image is captured at a different sensitivity levels and then combined to produce a image with better depth and a higher range a technique known as 'pixel binning'.
The compact camera is slightly larger than your regular compact but oozes quality, it has a sturdy exterior that feels as though it could with stand a few knocks and scratches, and is no eye sore. One of the cameras most attractive feature is its range of manual controls, although the cameras LCD screen handles a lot of functions, the core functions are left to manual dials and buttons.
Having used numerous cameras which are fully controlled by an LCD touch screen many of them can be unfriendly and at times awkward to use. The F200 EXR excels in its ease to use, for example the the zoom control located on the top of the camera is very easy to use and allows you to find the desired zoom easily. Again manual dials for mode selection make it easy to switch between camera modes with speed and ease, without having to go through numerous navigational levels on the LCD screen.
We are provided with a few different options for use of the flash Intelligent flash is used when the camera is in automatic mode, there are also adjustable flash modes which include: Forced Flash, suppressed flash, and slow synchro.
